CAMPUS AND OTHER RESOURCES FOR FACULTY

Printing

All faculty have $120 per year of printing allowance on campus as part of the Free Print Allowance Program. Printing is directed to an IS virtual print queue which is accessible from numerous IS self-service printers.  For a complete listing of available locations and answers to FAQs, please visit the I.S. Print Management page: http://www.northeastern.edu/its/services/printing-plan/.

Photocopying

A four-digit copier code is required to use University photocopiers, and your academic unit can provide you with the appropriate code.  Photocopiers are available at the following locations:

  • Ryder Hall [#24 on map] – Copiers are on the 2nd floor.  Make a right at the top of the stairs.  Make another right at the end of the hall.  Copiers will be on your left.
  • Belvidere Place [#82 on map] – Full-time faculty only (badge access is required).
  • Boston Financial District Campus [89 Broad St.] – Campus is on the 2nd floor.  Front desk staff can direct you to the photocopier.

In addition, the InfoCommons computer lab at Snell Library [#59 on map] offers scanners that can be used to create electronic versions of documents which can then be printed using the Free Print Allowance discussed above.

Husky Card

The Northeastern Husky Card is the official identification card of Northeastern University.  Along with identification, the Husky Card is also used for building access, parking, printing, vending, off- and on-campus vendors, library services, discounts and more.

All current full-time faculty at the university are eligible for a Husky Card and will automatically be placed into the Husky Card system at the time of their start date. The cards will remain active until you are no longer at the university or until retirement.

Part-time faculty are eligible for a Husky Card but are not automatically placed into the Husky Card system. A Husky Card Authorization form must be filled out and signed by your academic unit and processed by the Husky Card Office.
