- A red FACT is submitted when the student is experiencing serious difficulty in the course in any of the following areas: grades, attendance, participation, academic integrity, preparedness, inappropriate behavior, language difficulty, other. A red FACT is submitted when the student issues could result in a failing grade for an assignment or the course.
- A yellow FACT is submitted when the student can benefit from academic assistance or guidance beyond standard course material and/or if you think there may be concern in any of the following areas: : grades, attendance, participation, academic integrity, preparedness, inappropriate behavior, language difficulty, other. A yellow FACT is submitted when the student may receive a lower grade, but is not in danger of failing an assignment or the course.
- A green FACT is submitted when the student requires a time‐sensitive report and is performing at or above a satisfactory level, or when a red or yellow FACT was previously, but the student has made improvements.
- A “Missing from Class” report is submitted when a student, in an on-ground or hybrid course, never attended a course or has stopped attending more than 2 classes without explanation, yet remains registered. Similarly a Missing from Class report is submitted when a student, in the online environment, never participated or has stopped participating for 2 weeks or more without explanation, yet remains registered.
