Graduate Senate Membership
The Graduate Student Government holds open meetings. This means that you can come to any meeting and check us out!
If you would like to become more involved, you can become a Graduate Senator. This process requires that you fill out a nomination form, wait for a decision by the GSG. If your application is approved you join us as a voting member.
GSG Senator terms are for ONE academic year. Therefore, all new and returning GSG Senators MUST fill out a form annually.
National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS)
The Northeastern Graduate Student Government is a member and active participant of the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students (NAGPS) in the United States.
NAGPS is a student-run national, non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of graduate & professional students across the United States. Founded by student leaders in 1987, NAGPS is a national organization that represents the interests of graduate and professional students in public and private universities at local, state, regional and national levels. Northeastern University falls under the Northeast Region of NAGPS.
Every fall, NAGPS hosts a national conference, and every spring, NAGPS member schools meet at regional conferences.
All Northeastern graduate students are eligible for discounts, special access resources, and participation within NAGPS. More information can be found at www.nagps.org.
