Association of American Medical Colleges’ Oral Health in Medicine Collection These online resources, available through MedEdPORTAL, form a model oral health curriculum for undergraduate medical education. American Interprofessional Health Collaborative The American Interprofessional Health Collaborative (AIHC) promotes the scholarship and leadership necessary to develop interprofessional education and transform health professions education across the learning continuum, for students, practitioners, and educators.
Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative The Canadian Interprofessional Health Collaborative (CIHC) promotes collaboration in health and education. The Collaborative is a national hub for interprofessional education, collaboration in healthcare practice, and patient-centered care.
Center for Health Sciences Interprofessional Education, Research and Practice The Center for Health Sciences Interprofessional Education, Research and Practice at the University of Washington aims to promote the health of individuals and the public by advancing interprofessional collaboration. The Center’s website provides online modules related to e-learning, simulation, and informatics, and other resources for faculty, clinical educators, and students.
Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (2011) This expert panel report, sponsored by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC), builds on each profession’s individual competencies to define competencies for interprofessional collaborative practice. The report was inspired by a vision of interprofessional collaborative practice as key to the safe, high quality, accessible, patient-centered care desired by all.
Education to Practice (E2P) Interprofessional Tool Kit The E2P Interprofessional Tool Kit is a web-based collection of resources developed by the Michigan Health Council with support from the Michigan Department of Community Health. International Centre for Oral-Systemic Health (ICOSH) The International Centre for Oral-Systemic Health (ICOSH), launched in January 2008 at the University of Manitoba, is a first-of-its-kind academic center committed to addressing the knowledge gap that exists between dentistry and other health professions by increasing awareness of the links between oral and systemic health. MedEdPORTAL iCollaborative iCollaborative features educational resources that have not undergone the formal MedEdPORTAL peer review process. Sample resources include programs which aim to change curriculum at health institutions or frameworks for educating learners on newly adopted patient safety protocols.
