Biography

I grew up in Huntington Beach, California and moved to Boston for school in 2004. I am currently working towards a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and Mathematics and have always been interested in the science of the very small, so the IGERT program naturally appealed to me.

Before becoming an IGERT associate I worked for Dr. Karen Gleason at MIT, depositing bio-compatible polymer thin films for protection of biosensors. My current project has similar aims, with applications for implantable neuroprosthetic devices.
