On March 24, 2017, SSEHRI will co-sponsor the event “Teaching Climate, Inspiring Action” along with Boston Civic Media at Northeastern University. The event will take place in the Alumni Center at Columbus Place from 11:00-2:00.
Learn from experts and share your projects on approaches for teaching students to communicate and take action on climate change. We will discuss methods ranging from community-based education to artistic interventions to policy advocacy. Through a series of lightning talks and brainstorming collaboration, we will explore climate change in a global and local Boston context, including how we can partner locally across academic, non-profit, technology, arts, and policy stakeholders.This event welcomes academics, students, non-profit leaders, community organizations, and government.
