SSEHRI Welcomes New Members

We’re excited to expand our reach this year and welcome several new students and affiliated faculty members.

Our new students are Taylor Braswell, a first year PhD student in Sociology, who has already started working with Sara Wylie’s research group; Rachel Domond, a third year Sociology undergrad, who is doing a co-op on Sharon Harlan’s UWIN project; and Clare Malone, another Sociology undergrad, who has a co-op with Phil Brown’s PFAS research group.

Our new affiliated faculty are Alissa Cordner, Assistant Professor of Sociology at Whitman College; Loretta Fernandez, Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Northeastern; Susan Mello, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies at Northeastern; Dietmar Offenhuber, Assistant Professor of Art + Design at Northeastern; Steven Scyphers, Assistant Professor of Marine and Environmental Sciences at Northeastern; Jennie Stephens, Dean’s Professor of Sustainability Science and Policy; and Emily Zimmerman, Assistant Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders at Northeastern.
