Kayleigh Ward has been voted chair-elect of the Rural Policy RIG (research and interest group) for the Rural Sociological Society for the 2023-2024 year. This means she will act as chair of the RIG in 2024-2025. She will be assisting the current chair with planning for the rural policy conference sections next year, professional development, and so much more.
