Course Overview
MANDATORY for full-time undergraduate students enrolled on the Boston campus for the first time in Fall 2024. Optional and highly encouraged for families.
Learn about life as a Husky and university services that will support you on our Boston campus and throughout your Northeastern experience. This mandatory half-day course introduces you to academics, residential life, campus safety, health and wellness, student involvement, and much more!
Failure to complete may affect student enrollment status.
Student Access Instructions
- Log into Canvas at Northeastern with your Northeastern credentials on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device. This course should not be completed using the Canvas app.
- On the Canvas Dashboard, select the Fall 2024 Husky 101 Orientation course.
- Enable pop-ups on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device. After fully completing each module assignment, exit out of the pop-up window and return to the main Canvas course. In order to unlock the next assignment, the pop-up window or tab must be fully reviewed and closed.
- To save course progress, you must fully complete an assignment before exiting out of the pop-up window or leaving the Canvas course. Please do not refresh the page while completing an assignment.
- Submit the Student Acknowledgement at the end of the course to complete your Husky 101 Orientation online curriculum requirement.
Track Completion
- View Modules and look for a green check mark next to assignments you’ve viewed and quizzes you’ve submitted.
- View Grades to track overall completion. Select “Arrange by > Modules” to track your progress.
- To complete your Husky 101 Orientation online curriculum requirement, you must submit the Student Acknowledgement at the end of the course.
