This year our theme for Black History Month is “Black History Matters”. The John D. O’Bryant Institute and our black student organizations along with Cultural Life and Africana Studies will bring you some of your favorite events such as the “Opening Event – Black History Matters” the “Black Heritage Awards” and “Taste of the Diaspora. There will also be events that focus on financial freedom, black history trivia, reflections on the words of James Baldwin and many more.
