Jessica L. Parker, BSDH, MS

Jessica HollomanMrs. Parker is Program Director of Innovations in Oral Health, Northeastern University. She also serves as Program Director of the Nurse Practitioner-Dentist Model for Primary Care, a three-year collaborative agreement between Northeastern University School of Nursing and Harvard School of Dental Medicine.  Prior to joining Northeastern University, Mrs. Parker worked as a clinical research dental hygienist at the General and Oral Health Clinic, School of Dentistry, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Mrs. Parker’s scholarly activity focuses on advancing interprofessional education to improve oral health and overall health for vulnerable and underserved populations.  Her scholarship activity includes topic areas such as the investigation of obesity referrals by dental hygienists, genetic indicators in the presence of periodontal and systemic disease, aerosol reduction by dental devices, and cultural competency training for future health care providers.
