Welcome International Students and Scholars!
Northeastern University hosts over 11,700 international students and scholars from 140 different nations across the world.
The Office of Global Services (OGS) is an active resource for Northeastern University’s community of international students, scholars, and their families. We provide professional expertise and support from the time of admission to after graduation. Our staff’s commitment ensures that our community maintains compliance through their immigration, academic, and employment experiences.
The OGS collaborates with students, scholars, and other offices at Northeastern to enhance the international character of the university. We help our community build connections and share their values and stories across the university and throughout Boston.
*Notice for ALL International students, scholars, and faculty regarding travel.
Northeastern University requires all students, and highly recommends all faculty and staff, to enter their travel itinerary and housing accommodations into “My Travel Plans,” also called the traveler registry.
This allows the university to communicate directly with travelers if unexpected events or conditions create circumstances that might pose health or safety risks. In addition, it enables on-campus resources and external support providers to better respond to students, faculty, and staff who may need medical or security assistance.
