HOW THE OCEAN GENOME LEGACY IS FULFILLING ITS MISSION
Specimens are collected and identified by scientists from academia, government, aquariums, and nonprofits around the world.
OGL scientists extract and preserve tissue and DNA at our lab located on the Northeastern University Marine Science Center campus.
Samples are archived for long-term storage at OGL’s cryopreservation facility.
