The Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics provides cross-disciplinary training in biology, computer science, and data analytics that will prepare students to play pivotal roles in today's cutting-edge life science, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. Learn how to interpret data encountered in fields such as genomics, proteomics, personalized medicine, drug discovery, and cancer therapy. The certificate comprises four classes which can be completed in as little as eight months, with a maximum limit of three years.

  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Personal statement
  • English language proficiency:
    • Degree earned or in progress at a U.S. institution
    • Degree earned or in progress at an institution where English is the only medium of instruction
    • Official exam scores from either the TOEFL iBT (institution code is 3682), IELTS, PTE exam, or Duolingo English Test. Scores are valid for 2 years from the test date.
