Third World Liberation: A Roundtable Discussion

Join us for Third World Liberation: On the Histories and Possibility of Coalitional Praxis, A Roundtable with Mari Matsuda, Charles Lawrence and Patricia Williams.

This once-in-a-lifetime roundtable will examine the trajectory of third world liberation. Keynote speakers Mari Matsuda, Charles Lawrence and Patricia Williams will discuss their scholarship which range from the racial tensions that arise in coalition-based movements, the historic-to-social conditions that make coalition work difficult, affirmative action and the legal parameters of race-based arguments, and new models for anti-racist organizing.
