The Annual Dean Roland E. Latham Oratory Competition

The John D. O’Bryant African American Institute will host their annual Roland E. Latham Oratory Competition in collaboration with Northeastern African Student Organization (NASO) on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the Cabral Center (doors open at 5:30pm). The competition is a longstanding tradition of the JDOAAI, which strives to promote the ability of Northeastern University students to formulate and express their views on social and economic issues that affect the African Diaspora.

We encourage undergraduate students to sign up and participate! If you are interested in joining the competition, please sign up here no later than Tuesday, March 13th, by 2:00PM. 

Don’t forget there are prizes! Prizes for the winners of the First-Year and Upper-Class categories include:

●    1st Place – $1000

●    2nd Place – $500

●    3rd Place – $250
