Information Session on Graduate DH Certificate

Northeastern Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate Program: Accepting Applications for 2017–18
Interested in graduate work in Digital Humanities? Do you have students interested in pursuing graduate work in DH and working with faculty and students at the NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks? Northeastern University offers an interdisciplinary Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities for students enrolled in any graduate program at Northeastern. Applications for master’s programs in fields including English, Public History, and Journalism: Media Innovation (with a Fall 2017 start date) will be accepted through early August; master’s students in these programs (and any other graduate program at NU) can simultaneously enroll in the DH Graduate Certificate Program offered by NULab faculty. We invite you to join an informational session on graduate study in the digital humanities and computational social sciences at Northeastern, April 27th from 3:30 to 4:15pm in the Digital Scholarship Commons in Snell Library. This event is part of the Welcome Day event in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. For more information and to register, see here. You are welcome to join the information session at 3:30 even if you aren’t able to attend the rest of Welcome Day; just email sa.connell[at]northeastern[dot]edu to RSVP.
We will share information about the Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities, which allows students to pursue an organized course of study in DH with while completing requirements for their degrees in existing doctoral and master’s programs.
Learn More about the NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks
The NULab for Texts, Maps, and Networks will host the April 27 information session with NULab faculty and graduate students. We’ll share some of the NULab’s research and projects, talk about career opportunities in digital scholarship, and introduce the graduate courses and programs in DH and CSS. This is an opportunity to learn more about these up-and-coming fields and speak with an interdisciplinary group of graduate students and faculty about how you can get involved with DH and CSS at Northeastern.
