IRS Data Breach

In light of the recent publicity surrounding the IRS Data Breach, we want to assure our students and families that all information submitted to our office is handled in a confidential and professional manner. As the breach may impact a student’s or family’s ability to request materials from the IRS, we will be mindful of deadlines and processing time for those who are requesting tax transcripts. As an alternative to requesting the IRS Tax Transcript, you may be eligible to update the FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool. We will certainly notify students and families if any changes occur or additional information becomes available. If you have specific questions regarding this issue, please do not hesitate to contact your counselor directly.
