Break Into Tech
6 p.m. - 8 p.m. PT410 West Georgia St. (Northeastern U. Vancouver Campus)
You don’t need a background in tech to have a future in it. Technology thrives on new, diverse, and unexpected ideas—it needs new perspectives.
Break into Tech—and learn what an algorithm is, how real-world data can be represented, and how your point of view can change computer science or solve a real-world problem through data science. No prior experience is needed—just bring your enthusiasm.
When you attend Break into Tech, you will:
- Experience computer and data science in action, and see how it applies to your everyday life.
- Participate in a mini-project where you can collaborate with others and discuss diverse perspectives.
- Learn more about the Northeastern University Align MS in Computer Science program.
Please note, participants must hold a bachelor’s degree or be nearing college graduation to participate.
