Rue Quizon

CAMPUS OPERATIONS MANAGER

Rue Quizon provides overall management of the Toronto campus facility including business operations, IT, finance, HR, events, student and visitor services. She ensures that the campus runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

Rue earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Geography from Carleton University. Prior to joining Northeastern, Rue has worked in Ottawa, Africa, and the Middle East. She is an avid traveler, a ukulele enthusiast, and enjoys a good cup of coffee. Rue is currently pursuing her Master’s in Project Management through Northeastern.

Evan Clarke

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ACADEMIC AND STUDENTS AFFAIRS

Evan manages student experience at the Toronto campus. Associate Director of Academic and Student Affairs

Evan works with Northeastern faculty members to ensure high-quality program delivery at the Toronto campus. He is also the main point of contact for Toronto-based students, helping them to get access to the resources that they need. Prior to coming to Northeastern, Evan taught philosophy at Boston College, where he earned a doctorate in 2014. The focus of his philosophical research is German philosophy between the late 18th and early 20th century. Information on Evan’s publications can be found here. Evan is also a graduate of the University of Toronto and the University of Guelph.

Anupriya Karmakar

Communications and Events Coordinator 

Anupriya Karmakar manages and leads a number of key priorities, including designing and executing a best in class social media strategy, engaging Northeastern University Toronto’s online community, growing our content strategy in partnership with teams in Boston, re-engineering the event and lead capture process and supporting the execution of events. She also manages the local digital vehicles to deepen engagement and advocacy.

Anupriya has a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Delhi, India. Prior joining Northeastern, she was working with KMPG India. She has experience across different industries, including Information Technology, Recruitment & Job Search, Automotive Components, E-commerce and Professional Services. She is an avid blogger, a foodie, and is currently exploring Canada’s Must-Visit places.

Jordan Becker

Assistant Director of Student Recruitment & Enrolment

Jordan is a goal oriented and results driven leader with an eye for detail and a passion for improvement. He is an articulate communicator with strong business acumen developed over a decade of professional experience in technology, business development, marketing, financial services, and hospitality.

Jordan joins the newly formed Toronto team with a strong background in higher education. His most recent role was as Partnership Lead for the DMZ (Ryerson University’s globally recognized accelerator for tech startups). Some notable achievements in this role include a complete re-development of the organization’s external qualification process, as well as the strategic planning and execution of a two-week US roadshow that brought top performing Canadian startups to New York, Boston, and San Francisco to connect with potential customers and investors.

Jordan holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Ryerson’s Ted Rogers School of Management with a major in Entrepreneurship & Strategy and a minor in Marketing Management. He is currently pursuing the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through Ryerson University and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
