Meet Our Alumnus: Chung Lee

Q1. Where did you grow up and where do you live now?

A. I was born in Hong Kong and now live in Toronto.

Q2. Why did you choose Northeastern University Toronto?

A. As a kid, I aspired to be an engineer. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, I decided to pursue a master’s degree. I chose Northeastern University due to its strong reputation in co-op programs as well as its location in Boston – a culturally rich city and an international center for high tech.

Q3. How did Northeastern University help you to advance your career?

A. I enjoyed my studies, especially my co-op work terms at General Electric, where I was able to apply my knowledge and skills in computer hardware and software to automate quality control. After graduation, I moved to Canada. My practical experience boosted my confidence and gave me a leg up in jump-starting my career.
