Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Program in Biopreservation Technologies

Students come from all around the country to engage in exciting cutting edge research with the technology’s greatest experts in biopreservation and cryobiology! Students have a diverse range of majors, experiences, and interests. We hope that you will consider joining us this summer.

REU students will work in a university research lab on a project related to ATP-Bio’s science and technology along with a faculty advisor and graduate student mentor. Each student has a project of their own with specific responsibilities and deliverables. The program features professional and skill development opportunities, as well as social activities.

Dates: June 7 – August 13, 2021
UMN (virtual) and MGH (in-person)
Duration: 10 weeks
Stipend: $5,000*
*for in-person projects, a travel and housing stipend is also provided

Through a purposeful curriculum, they will leverage E-Club’s expansive student and alumni network, gain access to exclusive opportunities, and hone their entrepreneurial skillset.”

Northeastern University’s Women Who Empower Initiative

We are very excited to announce our first ever Women who Empower Innovation Awards for Spring 2021. We are seeking applications for one-time grants of up to $12,500 for members of the Northeastern universe who are passionate about innovation and community, and would benefit from financial support to develop and advance their entrepreneurial endeavors. We invite applications from students, alumni, faculty, and staff members  at any stage of their venture, from exploring a promising idea to scaling an existing business. This grant is open to both men and women.Applications are due by January 31st, but we are only accepting the first 100 applications.


Professional Development Workshop from Point B Consultants

We understand some students may not have considered a career in consulting (or know too much about what that career looks like), but we wanted to share our perspectives on some of the key skills to start a career in consulting as we are looking for full-time and intern analysts to join our team in 2021. 

We would like to introduce Point B’s Path program, which is designed to educate students on key skills to help land their first job and launch a successful career. We are offering one hour virtual professional development workshops across a few different topics – Consulting 101, Case Study Preparation, Resume Workshop, Executive Presence and Personal Branding as well as an Information Session to learn more about Point B.  See the attached for more information on these offerings.

LEED Training Special – Boston – Fall Online Webinars

LeadingGreen is hosting LEED Green Associate Training Webinars. LEED is simply a sustainability scorecard for green buildings. Buildings can become LEED Certified as can people! The best way to break into the sustainability space is to attain the LEED Green Associate. It also shows employers and clients you have certified knowledge in the field. On the Job Training – Medical Device Manufacturing

The Chicago Metropolitan Area is one of the eight hot spots for medical device companies in the country resulting in thousands of engineering jobs in this industry. However, there is a gap between the engineering college curriculums and the tasks a medical device engineer conducts on a day-to-day basis. The course, On the Job Training – Medical Device Manufacturing, is taught by a seasoned veteran of the medical device industry with the intent of teaching you the basics of this industry to give you a leg up on getting hired as an entry level engineer or an engineering intern.
