What’s happening at Campus, October 2015
From deviant globalization to the innovation of Seattle’s future to advancing your career potential, this October, Northeastern University – Seattle has an event for you.
Oct. 21 – Global Studies Lecture: Deviant Globalization
Sometimes known as the dark underbelly of economics, Deviant Globalization is the study of “innovators” from the seamy side of the tracks: entrepreneurs who find that in a world more interconnected than ever before, willing sellers of just about anything can seek and find willing buyers on a heretofore unheard-of scale.
This discussion is open to the public and will feature Dr. Mary Thompson Jones, Northeastern’s Global Studies faculty director, as presenter.
What can you do with a Master’s in Global Studies and International Relations?
Those interested in learning more about the program and its concentrations are encouraged to attend an information session before the lecture.
Oct. 30 – Xconomy’s Seattle 2035
What will be the next big innovation industries to propel Seattle into the future? NU – Seattle is hosting this important conference in collaboration with leaders from top industries in our region.
