Structure and magnetism development in titania nanotubes via post-treatment

Lead Presenter: Pegah M. Hosseinpour

Titania nanotube arrays are wide band gap semiconductors with promised photocatalytic properties. The functional properties of titania nanotubes are highly dependent upon their crystal structure and morphology. In this work, structure-magnetism correlations in titania nanotube arrays are examined. Free-standing arrays of amorphous titania nanotubes were synthesized by electrochemical anodization of titanium foil and subsequently subjected to annealing treatments at 450
