Usha has over 20 years of experience in managing and building mission critical applications in financial services, consumer product goods (CPG), automotive and utility industries.
As a Principal in the IT Trading Technology group at Wellington, Usha leads the team responsible for delivering trade automation, liquidity and post trade technology solutions for Wellington’s Global Trading business. During her 14 year tenure at Wellington, Usha has helped architect the Fixed Income, Currency and Cross-Asset Trading platforms. Usha is also the Chair of the Architecture Review Board at Wellington, responsible for setting the enterprise IT architecture standards.
Prior to joining Wellington in 2005, Usha worked at Veridiem (2003-2005), a startup where she helped build modeling engines used in Veridiem’s Marketing Resource Management software serving Consumer Product Goods (CPG) and Automotive industries. Prior to Veridiem, Usha was the Lead Architect at Future Three (2001-2003) and led the engineering team responsible for developing their B2B automotive supply chain software. Before that Usha worked as a consultant (1997-2001), and helped implement various software solutions at Kmart Headquarters and Detroit Edison.
Usha earned her MS in Computer Science and Engineering from Oakland University, in Rochester, MI. (1999), and Bachelor’s in Engineering (BE) in Architecture from Andhra University, in India (1996).
