Assistant Dean for Research Development
Katherine Calzada is Assistant Dean for Research Development at Northeastern University’s College of Arts, Media and Design (CAMD). In this role, she facilitates growth in CAMD research development and operations, and builds programs and strategies to support, expand and promote faculty and student research endeavors. Prior to her role at CAMD, she directed operations for Northeastern’s international pathway programs at the College of Professional Studies. Before joining the Northeastern community, she worked for nine years at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, where she directed international executive education programs focused on management, leadership, and international security. She has an undergraduate degree in Russian Area Studies from Wellesley College, and a graduate degree in International Education Policy from Harvard’s Graduate School of Education.
