Interim Vice-Provost for Research Administration
Jeff joined Northeastern University in 2016 as its first Asst. Vice-Provost for Research Compliance where he is responsible for developing and managing the University’s research compliance programs, including compliance in areas such as grants management, export controls, financial conflicts of interest and research misconduct, among others, placing an emphasis on outreach and education as well as the implementation of effective lines of communication. Since September 2018, Jeff is also serving as the Interim Vice-Provost for Research Administration where he oversees the administrative units that support the University’s research enterprise. Prior to Northeastern, Jeff served in a similar capacity at Harvard Medical School for eight years as the Executive Director for the Office of Academic and Research Integrity. Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Rochester, a law degree from the New England School of Law and a Masters of Law degree from Loyola University Chicago.
