Founder and President
Floyd S. Greenwood is the founder of Alphamatician. Alphamatician provides tools that let users access numerous new datasets ranging from social data to ecommerce data to employment data. Using proprietary algorithms and techniques, Alphamatician uses big data to help clients make better decisions. Floyd’s previous experience includes senior analyst roles at Lazard Asset Management, Prudential Securities, and Citigroup. Prior to coming to Wall Street he worked in strategic and product management at SBC Communications, and he performed econometric marketing analysis for Kestnbaum & Company, an erstwhile division of Andersen Consulting. Floyd holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago in Finance, Statistics and Operations Management. He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Floyd’s interests include electronics, Internet of things, and all things outdoors. He has also been active in promoting science fair and robotics programs. He is a Conservation Commissioner, sits on several boards, and is involved in a variety of environmental science programs.
