David currently serves as President of Vector Global Corporation, an international consulting firm focused on the education and mentoring of individuals and groups considering the virtues of business ownership. David most recently served as President and CEO of Adaptive Surfaces, Inc. ASI was formed around the commercialization of a revolutionary materials technology developed at Harvard University.
Before joining ASI, David was President and Co-Founder of Perimeter Brand Packaging (formerly Union Street Brand Packaging), a Nypro, Inc. joint venture company. He started this business in 2001 which currently has its’ headquarters location in the Greater Boston area. He began his professional career as a Chemical Process Engineer with GE Plastics and spent the next ten years advancing through several positions including Operations, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales Management. He then transferred to GE Capital where he spent the next three years serving as the Vice President of Sourcing and Dealer Operations for their Fleet Services division.
Following a successful career with GE, David was recruited by Boston Scientific Corporation, a leading medical device manufacturer, where he assisted in the establishment of their Global Supply Chain and Strategic Sourcing Program(s) in partnership with McKinsey & Company. In addition to working for Fortune 100 businesses he has also been intimately involved with early stage companies both in operating and fund-raising positions as well as mentoring and advisory roles.
He received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell (graduated Summa Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and International Business from Bentley University. He currently serves on the Engineering Advisory Board at UMass-Lowell.
