Boston Device Development
As an Engineer with Boston Device Development, David Perry translates client needs into comprehensive mechanical systems. Some of his recent work involves motion control and automation, acoustics design, and the development of high-precision lab equipment.
Prior to joining Boston Device Development, David founded a company that developed a novel water filtration system he designed with fellow students at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Through his work on this project, David was named the Future Forward 2010 Game Changer of the Year and awarded a $100,000 prize in the MassChallenge competition.
David holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where his course work focused on the theoretical foundations of mechanical engineering. In addition to his technical studies, David worked extensively with student-run startups, and had his works of non-fiction featured in writing and communication textbooks.
