Bill has over 25 years of technical experience mostly as a software entrepreneur. He specializes in developing innovative software solutions to solve enterprise technology challenges. Several software products he wrote were first of their kind and helped pioneer the adoption of object technology now common in enterprises today. Customers worldwide have licensed his software for systems ranging from Wall Street trading applications to the US Navy. He is a patent holder and negotiated multiple OEM technology license deals across top technology vendors.
Bill has extensive software development and systems development experience. Currently he is CTO of Promia where he has been lead architect of 6 commercial software products and 5 US Department of Defense network security projects. He has presented at several industry conferences. Bill still allocates time to applying the latest technologies in a hands-on fashion. His recent work ranges from implementing a small footprint, cross platform byte code virtual machine for laboratory automation, to a next generation framework for large cloud based distributed security systems.
Bill seeks to help inspire and support the next generation of software entrepreneurs through mentoring and other volunteer efforts. He received a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University.
