CATLR: Developing Teaching and Learning Grant Proposals
October 17 @ 11:45 am - 1:15 pm
Snell Library, Room 215 (+ Google Map)
The Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research (CATLR) inspires, equips, and connects learners, educators, and scholars to design, integrate, and research learning across experiences.
In this workshop, you will consider strategies for describing teaching and learning interventions – as well as selecting appropriate assessments of their effectiveness – for grant proposals. Join if you are applying for a grant to support innovations in teaching and learning, considering addressing education in the Broader Impacts section of a proposal, or interested in learning more about writing evaluation or assessment plans. Share and get feedback on your ideas in conversations with colleagues.
Lunch will be provided.
Recommended for: Northeastern educators interested in submitting applications for grants that require evaluation, assessment, or teaching and learning components.
CATLR provides a broad range of opportunities for all Northeastern educators, including faculty, co-curricular educators/staff, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows to deepen their practice in ways that enhance student learning–through workshops, consultations, research, customized programming, assessment, and the development of new, innovative models for learning and education.
