Building Communities Of Resilience: Substance Use Disorder
November 20 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Museum of Science (+ Google Map)
What does a community of resilience that supports people with substance use disorders (SUDs) look like, and how could we create it? Like other chronic diseases, SUDs can be managed, but not cured. Maintaining recovery can be a huge mental and physical task, and can be isolating.
Join this interactive discussion at a Museum of Science Forum about building communities of resilience around SUDs. Share your perspective as groups work together to create a community plan while learning about methods of prevention and recovery as well as considering a diverse range of values and ideas.
Featured speakers to be announced soon. Light refreshments will be provided.
This program was created in partnership with Tufts Clinical and Translational Science Institute thanks to funding from the National Institute of Health.
