ABOUT THE PLC
The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) is an active, diverse volunteer group of Northeastern parent ambassadors who steer community outreach, provide feedback on university activities and communications, and contribute philanthropic support. PLC members have a common interest in strengthening experiential learning opportunities for students, sharing experiences and perspectives, and welcoming new parents into the Northeastern family.

Making an annual leadership gift of $1,000 or more designated to any area of the university of your interest, or to a specific program or scholarship.
Hosting and/or attending Northeastern events in your region and welcoming new parents to the university.
Fostering relationships with fellow parents to increase their knowledge of the university and encourage their support.
Providing feedback and guidance on PLC committee projects.
Identifying opportunities for corporate or foundation support through your personal and professional networks.
Attending the semi-annual PLC meetings*.
*The fall meeting is held during Family and Friends Weekend in October, and the spring meeting is held in April.

Receive monthly PLC newsletters.
Invitations to and reserved seating at selected university events.
Personal interaction with an active network of other engaged parents.
Recognition for philanthropic leadership and support for the university.
