Learn about the Northeastern University Parents Leadership Council

The Parents Leadership Council (PLC)  is a liaison between Northeastern and the parent community, and partners with parents to advance and empower students by facilitating communication among parents; by being a valuable resource for prospective, current, and alumni parents; and by increasing parent support and engagement.

PLC Overview

Northeastern University established the Parents Leadership Council (PLC) to better serve, engage, and understand our parent community. This dedicated group of parents sets a leadership example through its philanthropic support of and advocacy for Northeastern and its students.

The PLC enhances the experience of students and parents through individual outreach, identification of cooperative education opportunities, and fundraising efforts. Members of the PLC also serve as regional contacts to parents, offering advice and guidance to families new to Northeastern.
