The Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs invites engaged, motivated, and enthusiastic student leaders who exude Northeastern pride to learn more about the Husky 101 Orientation Leader (OL) position. Orientation Leaders serve as an essential resource during the undergraduate student and family transition. This position is only available to full-time undergraduate students.

Orientation Leader Benefits

  • Leadership development in diversity and inclusivity, interpersonal communication, team building, customer service, and critical thinking
  • Build relationships with a like-minded, diverse team
  • Spend the summer in Boston
  • Stipend position, including room and board

Position Requirements

  • Full time, undergraduate students only
  • In good academic and judicial standing with the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution
  • Available in Boston all summer from mid-May through the end of August; cannot be enrolled in co-op or have another full-time job. Flexibility for online classes and on-campus research.

All sessions will be held at Frost Lounge (102 Ell Hall), on the first floor near the elevator.

  • Thursday, February 2, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
  • Friday, February 3, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
  • Monday, February 6, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, February 7, 4:30 – 5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, February 9, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
  • Friday, February 10, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Virtual Information Sessions

For interested students currently on co-op or studying abroad, we are able to offer a virtual information session option.
