Husky 101 Student and Family Orientation is a 2-part, hybrid experience: 1) Online Curriculum and 2) Boston Campus Experience. Both components are mandatory for newly enrolled first-year, transfer, and veteran undergraduate students. Though Husky 101 Orientation is optional for families, we highly encourage participation.
Husky 101 Student and Family Orientation hosted by the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs is for full-time, undergraduate first-year, transfer, and veteran students and their families. Graduate students should contact their Graduate Program for information about graduate orientation.
From late-May through mid-June, students will receive communication directly from their college/program to complete pre-online academic advising. The advising process is unique to each college/program. In addition to pre-online advising, there will be an academic touch point during Husky 101 Orientation. Academic advising questions can be directed to your college/program.
Housing assignments, roommate information, and move-in dates will be communicated to students in July. Housing questions can be directed to Housing and Residential Life.
There are three components to the N.U.in orientation experience. In January 2023, N.U.in students and their families will participate in Husky 101 Student and Family Orientation, hosted by the Office of Student Orientation and Family Programs. Husky 101 Orientation coincides with spring move-in and is mandatory for students and highly encouraged for families. This final component of the N.U.in orientation experience will acclimate students and families to the Boston campus.
