Fall ’20 Entry
Welcome to Husky 101
To say “Welcome to Northeastern” doesn’t quite capture the adventure you’ve begun. Some call it the experience of a lifetime, but we like to say it’s nothing short of amazing here. Your inauguration to life as a Husky begins now, at Husky 101. Take part in a robust schedule of virtual programs, events, and networking that will begin in June and continue strongly through the start of the fall semester. Pre-registration is not required.
Check out this video to hear more about the many ways you’ll be engaging with our Orientation Leaders, current students, and most importantly, your new classmates!
Check your email regularly and keep an eye out for Husky Happenings. This frequent communication will keep students and families current on virtual happenings and informed about next steps critical to your transition.
Students, look forward to engaging with our student organizations and clubs, listening to My Husky Life student podcast series, or competing in the esports arena with your classmates. Add a song to your class playlist, showcase your talent during open mic night, or discuss your favorite read in our virtual book club. This, and lots more to come!
Families, look forward to Our Husky Family podcast series and opportunity to meet Husky families through virtual Meet and Greets.
In June, stay tuned for the launch of Husky Connect, Northeastern’s premier networking platform for enrolled undergraduate first-year and transfer students. Meet new classmates, engage in communities, and learn about student life from the best resource we can offer you, our Orientation Leaders.
In June, students will hear from colleges/programs to begin the process of academic advising and fall course selection, as well as learn about opportunities to enhance their academic journey.
In July, students and families will receive additional information on the mandatory Husky 101 Student Orientation and optional Husky 101 Family Orientation. These online curriculums will provide information on available resources, services, and tools instrumental in the success of your transition. Pre-registration is not required.
