If you are a student currently enrolled in this program, CPS advising staff will work with you to complete all degree coursework.

Offered through Northeastern’s School of Nursing, the online Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program focuses on the prevention of illness and the promotion of health, with a strong emphasis on the role of community in healthcare and maintenance. Along with learning new skills and best practices, the program also addresses related issues such as bioethics, intercultural communication, and serving vulnerable populations.

Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), this program is offered to registered nurses as part-time curriculum through the College of Professional Studies. Depending on personal preference and convenience, students can complete this program entirely online, or mix their program delivery methods, taking some of their courses online and others on-site.

Special Academic Requirements: Health Clearance, CPR Certification, and RN license must be up to date in order to register for NUR courses. Advanced Standing Credit (ASC) is awarded on completion of NUR 3010 and acceptance of Nursing Professional Portfolio. At least 140 quarter-hours must be completed before entering upper level nursing courses.
