Employment Information Sessions for Spring Semester

OGS hosts information sessions to assist students who are considering applying for post-completion OPT and CPT. Students should pre-register to guarantee a seat. Unregistered attendees may show up but are not guaranteed entry. Registration links, dates, and locations are below:

USCIS Released New Version of I-765

Please note that there is a new version of the I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. This new version is seven pages long. The current version will still be accepted by USCIS through September 16, 2018. Starting September 17, 2018, only the new version will be accepted. Please visit the USCIS website for more information regarding the I-765.

Curricular Practical Training (CPT):

*** Because some students are receiving credit for attendance, doors close to all CPT sessions 5 minutes after the session starts and late arrivers will not be allowed in. Please be make sure that you arrive on time in order to be allowed in.***

USCIS Releases Updated I-765 and other Forms

On 12/23/2017 USCIS published updated forms at uscis.gov/forms . USCIS did not give prior notice to stakeholders regarding this change. USCIS is strongly encouraging immediate use of these forms, however, USCIS will accept prior versions of forms until February 21, 2017.
