Living off campus gives us the unique opportunity to get involved in our community and meet neighbors. The Community Ambassadors host events off campus, attend community meetings and gatherings to learn about their neighborhood, and can help you find some of your neighborhood’s hidden gems!

See some of our off campus events below and how you can get involved with us!

Neighbor to Neighbor

Northeastern students, led by Community Ambassadors, join neighbors in Mission Hill, South End/Roxbury, and Fenway. Residents join in on the clean up alongside students to prep community gardens, clean up residential properties, and lend a helping hand. With over 100+ student volunteers, these big projects get done much faster! Sign up for our newsletter to receive an invite for Neighbor to Neighbor during the 2017-18 academic year!

Breakfast Club

During the spring and fall we host between 8-10 clean ups in Mission Hill, Fenway and South End/Roxbury neighborhoods. CA’s meet up with students, hand out supplies, and lead the group through the streets to keep our community looking beautiful! After the 1 hour clean up, join your new friends and CAs for a light breakfast at a local coffee shop. Email CA@northeastern.edu to sign up for Breakfast Club!

Fall 2017 dates coming soon! Learn more here.

Neighborhood Nights

Our first Neighborhood Night took place at Northeastern Crossing in August 2016! This was a great opportunity for Northeastern University staff, faculty and students to mingle with our residential neighbors and partners. This was followed by Huskygiving at the Fenway Community Center and a winter Neighborhood Night Northeastern Crossing. Follow us on social media or sign up for our newsletter to learn more about upcoming Neighborhood Nights!

Mission Hill Road Race

CA’s volunteer, along with many Northeastern students (and Paws!), to cheer on runners in the Mission Hill Road Race. Learn more about the road race here. Sign up for our newsletter to see how you can get involved in 2017!
