Chief Nursing Officer of Medline Industries, Inc.

Martie Moore is Chief Nursing Officer of Medline Industries, Inc. based in Northfield, IL. In this role, Moore develops forward-thinking solutions and programs that support clinical outcomes and practice. Moore draws upon over 30 years of clinical experience and extensive executive leadership, 20 of those years as a Chief Nursing Officer.
To date, Moore holds the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) certification and serves as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Organization of Nurse Executives and National Association for Healthcare Quality. In addition, she is a corporate advisory council member for the National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel (NPUAP) and the American Nurses Association (ANA). Martie is a 2016 recipient of the ANA’s “Honor A Nurse” Award, for a Lifetime of Leadership and Dedication to Patient Care and the Nursing Profession.
Prior to joining Medline, Moore was the Chief Nursing Officer at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR, a hospital within Providence Health & Services and a designated Magnet facility. In her leadership role as CNO, Moore led the facility through its third and fourth Magnet designation. Additionally, during her career development, Moore served as an adjunct faculty member at multiple universities, most recently at George Fox University in the Healthcare Administration Program.
In Moore’s early years, she received a bachelor of science in nursing from St. Martin’s College in Lacey, WA, and her master’s in organizational management from the University of Phoenix. Based upon her knowledge and expertise, Moore publishes and presents nationally on employee engagement, patient safety, cultural transformation, transforming delivery systems and improving clinical practice.
