What is N.U.in Boston?
As the global travel and education situations have evolved amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued to develop the shape of the N.U.in Program for Fall 2020. Recognizing the unique situation facing students and families who are forced to make challenging decisions about their future, we have decided to open N.U.in Boston, alongside our current international locations, as an additional site that students can choose to start their Northeastern journey.
N.U.in Boston will be a unique educational opportunity for students admitted to The N.U.in Program. N.U.in Boston students will have the same immersive global experience as their counterparts beginning the program in England and Ireland. All N.U.in students will take global experience coursework, participate in excursions in the city where they are studying, and bond as a cohort—all while completing a full semester of coursework. N.U.in Boston will be compatible with all majors.
If a student selects an international location, and the university subsequently determines that the location cannot operate given the global travel situation, impacted students will be guaranteed a space in N.U.in Boston.
Housing details for N.U.in Boston are still being finalized, and we will continue to share updates in the coming weeks.
The N.U.in Boston curriculum is under development by faculty and program directors. N.U.in Boston will be a compatible site for all majors.
