Engineers: Pioneers of Progress

In celebration of National Engineers Week and the significant impact the engineering profession has on society and the world, Northeastern University’s College of Engineering (COE) is hosting a variety of fun and informative events and activities during Feb. 15-21, 2020.

Students, prospective students, industry, academia, alumni, and families with aspiring engineers — there is something for everyone.

This year’s National Engineers Week theme established by DiscoverE is Pioneers of Progress. “Engineers – like all pioneers – use their knowledge, creativity, and sense of adventure to cross frontiers. Engineers have led us into space and deep below the ocean’s surface. They have connected millions of people through advances in communications and transportation. At DiscoverE, we support the people who make progress possible now and in the future. You can help us inspire future pioneers.” Join us as we showcase the Pioneers of Progress within the exciting field of engineering.

Learn and network with distinguished guest speakers from industry and academia in cutting-edge research fields, and participate in activities, from Cool Women and Hot Careers day and a K-12 STEM fair, to an interactive engineering open house in our First Year Learning and Innovation Center, and our very Third Annual College of Engineering PhD research expo!

Events are open to the public unless stated otherwise.
