Login Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulties logging in, please review the following FAQs.  Most login troubles can be solved with the following information.

Make sure you are using the correct Username and Password

Your username is your full Northeastern email address. For example if you are a student it would be smith.a@husky.neu.edu.  If you are faculty or staff, it would be a.smith@northeastern.edu

Your default password is your husky ID number. You can find this on your ID card or when you login into my.neu.edu. The number will be on the top left of the  screen.

My regular myNEU password is not working. Why?

At this time your regular NU password is not able to be synced. Please use your NU ID number as your default password for the first time you login.  After you login, you can reset your password to something you prefer by going to the “myProfile” area.  Scroll to Account Management to reset your password.

What if I have tried all of the password troubleshooting tips and I still cannot login?

First, make sure you are officially registered for the course in banner/myNEU. If you are not on the official roster you will not be able to access the course.  If you recently added the course, it can take up to 24hrs for your course registration to be updated into pilot system.

Should you need additional technical support,  please contact the 24 x 7 NU Online Support Center via phone (855-836-3520) or email (response within one business day):NUOnline@neu.edu. When requesting help, please be sure to identify yourself as an MSCS Pilot Course student. Please give the representative your specific course ID, name, section number and faculty member name. This will help the support team connect you with the right resources and information.
