S14_Empower_Event1«HI-TECH BOOST TO BOUVÉ. Last fall marked the dedication of the Arnold S. Goldstein Simulation Laboratories Suite in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences. Attending the event (from left) were Marlene Goldstein, who named the suite in memory of her husband Arnold, P’61, PhD’90; Thelma Goldstein, Arnold’s mother; and Bouvé Dean Terry Fulmer. The suite furthers healthcare instruction using computer-driven mannequins that mimic human responses.

S14_Empower_Event3«ADVANCING WOMEN IN INDUSTRY. In January, Northeastern hosted a panel on renewable energy, sustainability, and engineering as part of its Women Who Inspire series. Speakers included Susan Hunt Stevens, founder and CEO of Practically Green; and (from left) Marcy Reed, DMSB’86, president of National Grid in Massachusetts; Wendi Goldsmith, CEO of Bioengineering Group; and Mindy Lubber, president of Ceres.
