This two-part series offers a hands-on opportunity to prepare a teaching statement. In the first session, participants will be introduced to elements of an effective teaching statement, and then engage in activities designed to kick-start the writing process. In the second session, participants will share working drafts of their statements, offer each other feedback and suggestions, and further refine their statements. Lunch will be provided.
Note: Preference will be given to participants who can attend both Part 1 and Part 2. Please make sure you register for both sessions.
