Taking Pause: A Dialogue on Creating Inclusive Classroom Environments

What does inclusion look like in the classroom, both as a means to foster engagement and dialogue across the curriculum and as a result of that deep and genuine exchange? How do we create equitable environments that allow students to function at their maximum capacity, and work through their preconceptions to become deeper thinkers and connect their learning to their lives beyond the classroom? In this reflective structured dialogue, co-facilitated by CATLR and the Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service, we invite faculty and post-docs to explore questions related to diversity and inclusion in the college classroom. Lunch will be provided.
