Annual Reach(OUT) LGBTQIA Career Conference at Northeastern University School of Law

This event will focus on the perspectives and concerns of queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, intersex and asexual law students in preparation for co-op, internships and professional life in law and legal-related fields beyond campus. Students will have the opportunity to hear from attorneys in various practice areas and about topics including*:

• Being a Practicing Attorney Across the Intersection of Race, Class and LGBTQIA Identities
• Rights, Benefits, and Negotiation
• Assessing the Fit and Culture of Employers
• Queer Professional Dress
• Self-Care and Work-Life Balance
• Navigating Work as Transgender/Gender Non-Conforming People

Additionally, students will have the opportunity to engage one-on-one with professionals in a networking session to further discuss questions related to preparing for and navigating professional working environments.

All LGBTQ+ identified legal practitioners and LGBTQ+ identified law students are welcome to attend. Registration is free although donations are welcome.
