Classroom response technologies provide an alternative method in the classroom to engage students while also providing real-time assessment of student comprehension. Northeastern currently offers Poll Everywhere, TurningPoint Cloud and Top Hat software solutions integrated with Blackboard.
Using this software, faculty can create polls and quizzes on the fly. Students in courses using response systems have the option to respond with laptops, tablets, i.e., any web-enabled mobile device using browsers or applications. Rosters and grades can be integrated with Blackboard. Click on the ATS Classroom Response website to see a comparison of the different classroom response applications available.
